01 · Identify the system
Record each HVAC system and the rooms it serves. List supply and return openings separately, along with branches, main trunks and duct material. A vent count alone does not define a complete cleaning.

A complete plan starts with a defined system. Your written estimate identifies the work, access limits and price before you approve it.
Request a scoped estimateRecord each HVAC system and the rooms it serves. List supply and return openings separately, along with branches, main trunks and duct material. A vent count alone does not define a complete cleaning.
Your proposal marks each item as included, optional, excluded or inaccessible: registers, supply and return ducts, air-handler housing, blower, coil and drain pan. HVAC component cleaning is not automatically included in duct-only work.
State the approved agitation and collection method, work-area protection, access openings and closure, and any fragile or concealed areas. Repairs, replacement, roof access and chemical treatment need their own written scope and price.
The service record separates observed findings, completed work and recommendations. It identifies representative before-and-after photos and camera footage when captured. Airflow values include units, location and test conditions; if no measurement was taken, the report says so.
List system quantities, line-item charges, optional items and the approved total. Additional findings are explained and priced before additional work begins. An inaccessible component remains an explicit limitation, not a completed item.
Cleaning is condition-based. Light surface dust alone does not establish a need, and duct cleaning is not a proven way to prevent health problems. Wet or damaged material and underlying moisture may need a different remedy. Chemical treatment is never an automatic substitute for physical cleaning.

BLUE STEEL LLC · Service completion recordOriginal job photos replace these placeholders. Photos alone do not establish airflow improvement.
Property photo when provided, job reference, service date and approved scope.
Matched views of the same accessible location, with a description of what was cleaned.
Completed work, inaccessible areas and any remaining concerns are stated separately.
